First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent, security deposit, and any additional fees are all payable at the lease signing. Please confirm the amount with us in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We'll schedule your move-in date at the lease signing. We'll also provide inspection information at this time.

Utilities

Please note, as a Nest Idaho tenant, you are responsible for placing all utility accounts in your name. Be sure to do this immediately upon taking occupancy, to avoid outages and administrative fees.

Move-out Checklist

As you prepare to leave your Nest Idaho property, please read through the following essential keys.

Notice of Intent to Vacate

You need to provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate your home. Refer to your lease for specific terms and conditions.

Property Condition

Your home needs to be brought back to its original condition before you turn in the keys.

  • Rental Cleaning: Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and empty your property. All belongings must be removed from the premises. You'll also need to sweep, vacuum, and mop the floors. Pay careful attention to the kitchen and bathroom areas, replace burnt lightbulbs, and replace any broken glass panes.
  • Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If your home has outdoor space, you are also responsible for any landscaping chores, such as mowing the lawn.
  • Repairs: If any damage occurred during your visit, take the necessary steps to resolve the situation. Repaint if necessary, patch holes left behind by nails and screws, and replace broken fixtures. For more substantial damages, speak to a member of our team to work out a solution.

Security Deposit

We will conduct a final inspection of your rental property after you vacate the home. Any damage that we identify will be repaired using the funds in your deposit. The remainder will be returned to you as quickly as possible.

Remember, the security deposit is not a rent payment and cannot be used for your final month's rent bill.
